As a Patient Care Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting patient heart rhythms and vital signs, following set algorithm parameters that may raise alarms. You will need to interpret these alarms and communicate appropriately as needed. You'll also provide support services such as basic computer keyboarding, chart management, and supply stocking. The role demands strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with team members. Depending on the location, you may also provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients, summoning nursing staff if assistance is required.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Experience in healthcare is helpful, and previous experience with clerical/business services, communications equipment, and computer entry is desirable but not required.
Your primary responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting patient heart rhythms and vital signs, following set algorithm parameters, interpreting alarms, communicating appropriately, and providing support services such as chart management and supply stocking.
This position is for straight night shifts, typically 11:00pm-7:30am or 7:00pm-7:30am. It also includes every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.
