As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the Cardiology/Intermediate Care Unit at Sanford Health in Bismarck, North Dakota, you will play a crucial role in providing patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patients. Day in the Life

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Recording vital statistics and other basic health information accurately.
• Administering basic healthcare and medical treatments as directed by RNs and LPNs.
• Assisting patients with dressing, undressing, bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assisting with meal preparation and dining needs, ensuring patients receive proper nutrition.
• Providing emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families.
• Assisting with laundry services and maintaining a clean patient environment.
• Collecting non-invasive biological specimens from patients for testing.
• Preparing patient treatment areas and cleaning medical equipment according to protocols.
