As a Patient Care Technician in Medical Oncology, you will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies is also preferred. CNA certification is preferred but not required.
This position involves rotating 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday. Shift times are 7:00am - 7:30pm or 7:00pm - 7:30am.

Key responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, collecting specimens, and maintaining a clean environment.
The work environment can be fast-paced and demanding, but it is also rewarding. You will be working as part of a team to provide the best possible care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
