Role Overview

Day in the Life

As a PCT in our PM&R Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Taking patient vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) to monitor their condition and identify any potential issues.
  • Rooming patients for providers, ensuring they are comfortable and prepared for their appointments.
  • Cleaning and stocking patient treatment rooms to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Assisting providers and the nursing team with various tasks, such as preparing patients for examinations, assisting with procedures, and documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Assisting with procedures like EMGs, Botox, Trigger Points, and Pain Management.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide exceptional care and support.

You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. The position is four days a week, and your day off will depend on provider and team schedules.
