Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) team in Fargo, North Dakota. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive medical management to patients in our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, working alongside a collaborative team of physiatrists and fellow APPs. As an APP in our PM&R department, you will play a vital role in the daily medical management of patients undergoing rehabilitation. This includes performing assessments, managing medical needs, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. This position offers an optional call schedule, providing a desirable work-life balance.
Your day as an APP in our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit will be dynamic and rewarding. You will start your day by reviewing patient charts and preparing for morning rounds. During rounds, you will assess each patient's progress, address any medical concerns, and adjust treatment plans as needed. You will collaborate closely with the physiatrists, nurses, therapists, and other members of the rehabilitation team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Throughout the day, you will also be responsible for managing patients' medical needs, including prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing patient education. You will document your findings and interventions in the electronic medical record, ensuring accurate and timely communication with the rest of the team. You will also have the opportunity to participate in team meetings, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and engage in professional development activities.

Sanford Health offers a competitive salary and benefits package for APPs. The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $95,000 and $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
