Role Overview

Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Cardiologist with a strong interest in Heart Failure to join their team at the Sanford Heart Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. This position offers the opportunity to work within a large, integrated health system and provide comprehensive care to patients with advanced heart failure. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of cardiologists, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and advanced practice providers.

Day in the Life

As a Cardiologist specializing in Advanced Heart Failure at Sanford Health, your day will be varied and challenging. You will be involved in hospital consult services, clinic appointments, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, nuclear cardiology studies, cardiac CTs, and cardiac MRIs. You will also participate in the management of LVAD patients and collaborate with heart failure nurse practitioners and RN heart failure navigators. The on-call schedule is split evenly among the general cardiologists. Internal medicine residents are assigned to the hospital service, providing additional support.
