Role Overview

As a Family Medicine Physician at Sanford Health in Detroit Lakes, you will be responsible for providing a full spectrum of primary care services to individuals and families in the community. Required Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree (experience)
  • Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada. (experience)

  • Case log including 25 vaginal deliveries, 50 adult medical patients, and 10 inpatient care of children under the age of 18 (excluding normal newborn), as applicable (experience)
  • Demonstrated active involvement in the clinical aspects of Family Medicine (experience)
  • Ability to perform history and physical examination (experience)
  • Ability to admit patients (if applicable to the setting) (experience)
  • Ability to evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages (experience)
