Family Medicine Physician Opportunity in Windom & Mountain Lake, MN

Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Windom and Mountain Lake, Minnesota. As a Family Medicine Physician with Sanford Health, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive and continuous healthcare services to individuals and families in our community. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing primary care services to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.   8. What are the core privileges for Family Medicine? The ability to perform history and physical examination, admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illness, diseases, injuries, mental health conditions and functional disorders of circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, integumentary, nervous, female reproductive, and genitourinary systems. This includes the pre-operative care of surgical patients and post-operative medical care of surgical patients and return to work issues.
  9. What if I am a new graduate? An applicant who has just completed residency shall provide their residency procedure log and a list of completed rotations, as applicable.
  10. What if I am not a new graduate? An applicant who is not applying directly out of a residency shall provide a quality profile from hospital(s) where he/she currently has privileges showing his/her clinical activity for the last 12 months, including numbers of procedures performed morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and other complications. Applicant must be able to demonstrate active involvement in the clinical aspects of Family Medicine by providing case log that includes 25 vaginal deliveries, 50 adult medical patients, and 10 inpatient care of children under the age of 18 (excluding normal newborn), as applicable to privileges being requested, in the last 12 months.
