Physician - Internal Medicine Opportunity in Aberdeen, South Dakota

Role Overview

As an Internal Medicine Physician at Sanford Aberdeen Clinic, you will provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. You will have the opportunity to practice in a traditional outpatient clinic setting with the potential for inpatient hospitalist shifts if desired. The practice offers a good variety of cases, from adult chronic medical conditions to young couples starting families. You will also have access to onsite health coaches and integrated health therapists for continuous patient education and follow-up.

A Day in the Life of an Internal Medicine Physician at Sanford Health

  • Morning: Arrive at the Sanford Aberdeen Clinic and review the day's schedule. Prepare for the first patient appointments by reviewing their medical history and recent test results.
  • Clinic Hours: See a variety of patients with diverse medical needs, including routine check-ups, chronic disease management, and acute illness visits. Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
