As an Otolaryngologist specializing in Otology, you will be responsible for the medical and surgical management of patients with ear, nose, and throat disorders, with a focus on conditions affecting the ear and related structures. This includes diagnosing and treating hearing loss, balance disorders, tinnitus, and other complex ear-related issues. You will work closely with a team of audiologists, advanced practice providers (APPs), and support staff to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care.

Core privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examinations, admit (if applicable to setting), evaluate, diagnose, and provide consultation on comprehensive medical and surgical care to patients of all ages presenting with diseases, deformities, or disorders of the head and neck that affects the ears, nose, throat, respiratory and upper alimentary systems, and related structures of the head and neck. Head and neck oncology and facial plastic reconstructive surgery and the treatment of disorders of hearing and voice are included in core privileges.
The call schedule will be 1:6.
Yes, facial trauma call is required.
The department has a team of well-trained audiologists, APPs, and support staff.

We have large, state-of-the-art surgical suites.
We are supported by Sanford’s Head and Neck program, which is leading the nation in treatment and positive outcomes for patients.
M.D. or D.O. degree. Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency Otolaryngology accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada. Applicants must be able to demonstrate at least 50 otolaryngology procedures in the last 12 months.
