Sanford Health is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Pain Medicine physician to join our established and growing multi-subspecialty, hospital-based pain medicine group in Fargo, North Dakota. A Day in the Life

As a Pain Medicine Physician at Sanford Health, your day will be varied and rewarding. You will: * **Patient Consultations:** Conduct thorough evaluations of patients experiencing acute and chronic pain, taking detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests. * **Treatment Planning:** Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, incorporating a multidisciplinary approach that includes medication management, interventional procedures, physical therapy, psychological support, and integrative health modalities. * **Interventional Procedures:** Perform a variety of interventional pain management procedures, such as epidural steroid injections, selective nerve root blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and intrathecal pain pump management. * **Medication Management:** Prescribe and manage pain medications, including both opioid and non-opioid options, while adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
