Role Overview

Sanford Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join our expanding multi-specialty group practice in Fargo, North Dakota. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to practice both outpatient and inpatient psychiatry, while also contributing to the education of psychiatry residents and medical students through our affiliation with the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. As a member of our Behavioral Health Sciences Department, you will be part of a collaborative team of over 30 psychiatrists, clinical nurse specialists, doctorate-level psychologists, and master's-level psychologists, providing a comprehensive continuum of care to our patients.

A Day in the Life

As a Psychiatrist at Sanford Health, your day will be diverse and challenging. You may start with inpatient rounds, evaluating and managing patients with acute psychiatric conditions. Following rounds, you might see patients in our outpatient clinic, providing therapy, medication management, and conducting psychiatric evaluations. You will also have the opportunity to supervise and teach residents and medical students, sharing your knowledge and experience with the next generation of psychiatrists.
