Role Overview

As a Reproductive Endocrinologist at Sanford Health, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with infertility and other reproductive health issues. This includes performing diagnostic testing, developing and implementing treatment plans, and performing procedures such as IVF, egg retrieval, and embryo transfer. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including OB-GYNs, MFMs, and neonatologists, to provide coordinated care.

A Day in the Life

Your typical day might involve a mix of the following:

• Consulting with new patients to understand their medical history and fertility goals.
• Performing physical exams and ordering diagnostic tests.
• Reviewing test results and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Performing procedures such as egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and IUI.
• Monitoring patients throughout their treatment cycles.
• Counseling patients on treatment options, risks, and benefits.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
• Participating in research and quality improvement activities.
