Physician - Vascular/Stroke Neurology Opportunity in Fargo, North Dakota

Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE stroke neurologist to join our growing Neurology group in Fargo, ND. Role Overview

As a Vascular/Stroke Neurologist at Sanford Health, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with cerebrovascular diseases. This includes diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute stroke, TIA, and other vascular conditions affecting the brain and spinal cord. You will work in a Level I Trauma Center and Joint Commission Accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

A Day in the Life

Your typical day might include:

  • Performing neurological examinations and assessments
  • Reviewing and interpreting neuroimaging studies (CT, MRI, angiography)
  • Providing consultations to other medical specialties
  • Managing acute stroke patients, including thrombolysis and endovascular procedures
  • Participating in stroke code response
  • Providing Telestroke services to regional locations
  • Following up with patients in the outpatient clinic
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Teaching and mentoring medical students and residents
