Applicants must be graduates of an accredited program for Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or Respiratory Therapy. They must have basic knowledge of sleep disorders and electrical safety. Eligibility to register with the BRPT or AASM is required, with registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RT), Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), or RPSGT within two years of hire. BLS certification is also mandatory.
Responsibilities include performing sleep study and neurological testing procedures, monitoring patients, documenting findings, educating patients on therapies and sleep testing, and ensuring compliance with AASM standards.
This position offers straight night shifts (12 hours). Scheduled weekly hours are 36.
