Completion of an educational program accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. You must also hold current registry by the ARRT and have Basic Life Support (BLS) within six months of hire. Cardiovascular and/or Vascular Interventional Certification within three years of hire is desired.

Procedures performed in the Cath Lab include left and right heart catheterizations, percutaneous intervention, intracoronary ultrasound, balloon pump insertion, Impella insertion, carotid stenting, peripheral and renal angiograms with intervention, electrophysiology studies, cardiac device implantations, ablations, and pulmonary vein isolations (PVIs).
What is the staff mix in the Cath Lab?
The Cath Lab staff mix includes RNs, Radiologic Technologists, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialists, and Registered Cardiac Invasive Technologists.
What is the on-call requirement for this position?
Sanford Rural Health Network Facility sites may require on-call rotation nights, weekends, and holidays. Specific on-call requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
