Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Sioux Falls Village long-term care facility.   • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of resident care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, providing appropriate supervision and support.
  • Serve as a charge nurse, overseeing the nursing team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and safety.
  • Adhere to all Sanford Health policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.
  • Attend continuing education programs to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for residents and their families.
  • Advocate for residents' rights and ensure their dignity and respect.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and progress.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to residents and families.
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation therapists to implement restorative care plans.
  • Document and report any incidents or accidents according to facility policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
  • Assist with end-of-life care and provide comfort to residents and families.
