RN - FT Nights - LTC - SF Village at Sanford Health

Role Overview

Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Sioux Falls Village, the largest long-term care facility in South Dakota. As an RN in our Long-Term Care (LTC) unit, you will play a vital role in providing quality, dependable care to our residents. You will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. This is a full-time, night shift position (10:30 pm to 6:30 am) with a rotation of every other weekend and holiday.

Day in the Life

As an RN on the night shift, your day will consist of:

  • Performing comprehensive resident assessments, including physical, psychological, and social needs.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on assessment findings.
  • Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Monitoring vital signs and documenting observations in the electronic health record.
  • Responding to resident emergencies and providing appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal resident care.
