Responsibilities

- Schedule tests and interventions per provider order.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including chemotherapy and biotherapy.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications and treatments, and take appropriate action.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with physicians and other inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Document all nursing care provided in the electronic health record.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
