Role Overview

As an RN in our 8-bed Inpatient Eating Disorders Unit, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and individualized care to patients with a range of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and other related conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, dietitians, and other specialists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

This position involves providing direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients and their families about eating disorders and recovery strategies. You will also facilitate group therapy sessions, participate in individual therapy, and conduct assessments to track patient progress. The unit also incorporates a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), expanding the scope of care you will be involved in.
