Role Overview

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a rewarding career in a dynamic operating room environment? A Day in the Life

As an RN in our Operating Room, your day will be filled with diverse responsibilities, including:

  • Assessing patients' health status and identifying their individual needs.
  • Developing and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with the surgical team.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and responses to treatment.
  • Documenting patient care accurately and comprehensively in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Functioning as a circulating nurse, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available for surgical procedures.
  • Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Maintaining a safe and sterile operating room environment.

This full-time position offers 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a rotating call schedule of once per week and once every 5-6 weekends. A 6-month orientation period with 8-hour shifts will provide you with the necessary training and support to excel in your role.
