Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Long Term Care (LTC) team in Grand Island, Nebraska. As an RN in our LTC facility, you will play a vital role in providing individualized nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The essential qualifications include graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program, a current unencumbered RN license in Nebraska or a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
While a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred, it is not required. However, it is highly encouraged for career advancement opportunities.
This is a full-time, night shift position with 12-hour shifts, typically from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.
The nurse-to-patient ratio varies depending on the needs of the residents and the census of the facility. However, we strive to maintain a manageable workload for our nurses to ensure they can provide quality care.
