## RN (LTC) - Full-Time Day Shift Opportunity in Canistota, SD Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) team in Canistota, South Dakota. As an RN in our LTC facility, you will play a vital role in providing individualized nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will also play a key role in educating residents and their families about their health conditions and treatment options. ### A Day in the Life Here’s a glimpse into what a typical day might look like as an RN in our LTC facility: * **6:00 AM:** Start your shift by receiving report from the previous nurse, reviewing resident charts, and preparing for medication administration. * **6:30 AM - 9:00 AM:** Administer medications and treatments to residents, monitor their vital signs, and document any changes in their condition. * **9:00 AM - 11:00 AM:** Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating. * **11:00 AM - 12:00 PM:** Conduct resident assessments and update care plans as needed. * **12:00 PM - 1:00 PM:** Take a lunch break. * **1:00 PM - 3:00 PM:** Provide wound care and other specialized treatments as ordered by the physician. * **3:00 PM - 5:00 PM:** Educate residents and their families about their health conditions and treatment options. * **5:00 PM - 6:30 PM:** Complete charting and documentation, and provide report to the oncoming nurse. ### Why Canistota, South Dakota?
