Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Long-Term Care (LTC) facility, you will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to our residents. This includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. You will collaborate with residents, their families, and other interdisciplinary colleagues, including physicians, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Your expertise and compassion will ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care in a comfortable and supportive environment.

A Day in the Life of an RN (LTC)

Your day as an RN (LTC) at Sanford Health may include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on resident assessments.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitoring residents' health status and reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care.
