Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Team in Fargo, North Dakota. This is a full-time, day shift position with 40 scheduled weekly hours. As an RN in our oral surgery clinic, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, conducting patient assessments, providing patient education, and performing triage duties. You will also administer IV therapy and medications, assist with clinical procedures, and utilize electronic medical records. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your nursing skills with dental and medical care in a highly collaborative team environment.
Your day as an RN in our oral surgery clinic will be dynamic and varied. You will start by preparing patient rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment is available. Throughout the day, you will room patients, take vital signs, and gather medical histories. You will also provide pre-operative and post-operative education to patients and their families. You will assist the oral surgeons during procedures, administering medications and monitoring patients' conditions. After procedures, you will monitor patients in the recovery area, ensuring their comfort and safety. You will also be responsible for scheduling follow-up appointments and communicating with patients regarding their care plans. In addition, you will participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

The starting rate for this position is $29.50 - $44.50 per hour, with experience credit added to your wage.
