As a Resource Team RN, your day will be dynamic and varied. You will be assigned to different adult inpatient medical-surgical units based on patient needs, working alongside specialty nurses to deliver comprehensive care. Your responsibilities will include performing patient assessments, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, providing wound care, and educating patients and families. You will also collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care. Flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role. Some Resource Team RNs may have the opportunity to train for specialty roles such as Rescue Nurse or Vascular Access Nurse, adding even more variety to their daily tasks.

Sanford Health offers a competitive salary and benefits package to its employees. The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $68,000 and $98,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. You must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA) and hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing in North Dakota or have multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
This position involves rotating 12-hour shifts.

The float team premium is $2.50 per hour.
