## Sanford Health RN Traveler - Pediatric ICU - Bismarck, ND Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for providing exceptional care to critically ill children? Sanford Health is seeking experienced and dedicated RN Travelers to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team in Bismarck, North Dakota. As an RN Traveler with Solutions by Sanford, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young patients and their families while enjoying a rewarding travel nursing experience. ### Role Overview As a PICU RN Traveler, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. You will utilize your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide emotional support to patients and their families. This role requires a high level of skill, compassion, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. ### A Day in the Life * **7:00 AM:** Arrive at the PICU and receive patient report from the off-going nurse. Review patient charts, assess current condition, and prioritize care needs. * **7:30 AM - 12:00 PM:** Administer medications, perform treatments, monitor vital signs, and document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR). Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. * **12:00 PM - 1:00 PM:** Take a lunch break and recharge for the afternoon shift. * **1:00 PM - 5:00 PM:** Continue to provide patient care, including wound care, pain management, and family support. Respond to patient emergencies and implement appropriate interventions. * **5:00 PM - 7:00 PM:** Prepare for shift change by completing documentation, updating care plans, and providing report to the oncoming nurse. * **7:00 PM:** End of shift. ### Why Bismarck, North Dakota?
