Role Overview

The SAP Infra Tools Deploy and Sustain Lead role at PepsiCo in Hyderabad, Telangana, is a pivotal position within the IT organization. Key Responsibilities

Deployment and Sustainment Leadership

Lead all aspects of SAP Infra Tools deployment and sustainment, focusing on monitoring, system refreshes, and automations. Collaborate with IT teams during project pursuits to design solutions, plan resources, and estimate costs aligned with PIRT/PGT standards.

Technical Execution and Troubleshooting

Install, configure, and upgrade tools such as SAP Focused Run, LaMa, Epi-Use, and SNP. Perform sizing, landscape design, and strategy execution for SAP systems, including installations, migrations, upgrades, backups, restores, high availability, and disaster recovery setups. Identify and resolve technical issues through advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

Act as QA lead, conducting reviews on technical designs and builds to ensure compliance with global standards. Manage technical cut-overs, Go-Lives, and Hypercare support. Enforce release and change management processes, while maintaining comprehensive documentation of landscapes, architectures, and procedures.

Collaboration and Innovation

Partner with global teams and SAP product teams to drive new capabilities and minimize critical incidents via advanced monitoring. Deliver effective handovers to Operations with clear knowledge transfer and Hypercare exit criteria. Stay abreast of industry trends through training, conferences, and self-study.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience and Education

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Candidates must have at least 10 years of hands-on SAP BASIS/System Administration experience, including 6+ years working with cross-geography teams. Proven expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, ECC 6.0, BI, PI/PO, Portal, BOBJ, and Solution Manager is mandatory.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Deep experience with SAP Focused Run, LaMa, Epi-Use/SNP or equivalent tools. Proficiency in system sizing, landscape design, installations, migrations, upgrades, refreshes, HA/DR setups. Knowledge of ITIL processes, MS Office, project methodologies, and production support is highly desired.

Non-Technical Skills
