Role Overview

The SC QC Coordinator position at PepsiCo's Patiala plant is essential for maintaining the highest standards of quality control in our supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities

Your primary accountabilities include:

• Conducting thorough quality checks on incoming RM/PM materials to verify adherence to all FLI quality standards.
• Monitoring RM/PM tests, identifying non-compliance among service providers, and communicating corrective actions promptly.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive reports for stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication across teams.
• Performing regular audits of RM/PM stores to confirm optimal storage conditions and proper FIFO/FEFO implementation.
• Driving the smooth implementation of food safety policies throughout the plant.
• Ensuring superior quality of received RM/PM through inspections and implementing robust quality control systems for vendors and suppliers.
• Overseeing GMP, GHP, GLP maintenance, and coordinating internal/external audits including HACCP, AIB, personal hygiene, and process audits.
• Communicating with vendors on root cause and failure analysis for deviations, following up on corrective actions.
• Reporting deviations/discrepancies to vendors and purchase teams, and tracking corrective and preventive measures.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should hold a B.Sc, B.E./B.Tech, or M.Sc in Food Technology or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of quality control processes, food safety standards (GMP, GLP, HACCP), and auditing is essential. Experience in the food and beverage sector, particularly with RM/PM handling, vendor management, and root cause analysis, is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment are key.
