Schneider Electric is growing, and we are now looking for a Technical Lead to support our Nordic Digital Power Application Center.

 

As a Technical Lead at Schneider Electric, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of customer integrated projects, ensuring compliance with technical requirements from initial customer meetings to the tendering process and into the execution phase. You will also play a crucial role in risk management, change management and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. You will be part of the customer project execution team within our Application Center, working in collaboration with our technical teams, tender managers and sales team which are spread across multiple sites and countries.  

 

What you will do 

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams in finding the right technical solutions for customers.  
  • Drive technical scope and philosophy toward salesclients, and sub-suppliers 
  • Coordinate internally with other business units and specialist teams.  
  • Provide detailed technical clarifications to clients and sub-suppliers 
  • Review and approve technical specifications and documentation 
  • Advise and support Project Managers and Automation Engineers with technical solutions. 
  • When neededstepping in and supporting the team 

 

What will help you succeed in this role 

  • Having an Electrical Engineering degree or other relevant engineering degree. 
  • Solid understanding of medium and low voltage switchgear solutions, monitoring and control systems. Basic knowledge of common power distribution communication protocols. 
  • Understanding of protection devices and basic understanding for the use of IED´s, LV CB protection devicesarc guardresidual current monitoring, and interlocking functions. 
  • Experience with automation platforms and the aspects of both hardware and software implementations. 
  • Knowledge of Ethernet networks in terms of hardware and software solutionscybersecurity, and high availability systems. 
  • Experience with power distribution automation, solutions for loadsheddingautomatic transfer switching and tap-changer automation. 
  • Experience with SCADA solutions. 
  • Passionate about building networks and tailoring offers to customer requirements. 
  • Experience with leading a team – taking care of our people 
  • Effective communication skills in English
