Job Description

The Business Offer & Channel Development Manager is a strategic role that combines two critical functions: managing Digital Power and Digital Building offers and developing strong channel partnerships. This integrated position ensures that global strategies are localized effectively, marketing execution is optimized, and ecosystem relationships are strengthened to deliver sustainable growth and market leadership.

 

What will you do:

 

  • Performance & Financial Management
    • Own the financial performance of offers and EcoXpert partners, including Orders, Sales, and Gross Margin.
    • Set ambitious targets, develop accurate forecasts, and monitor KPIs to ensure alignment with growth objectives.
    • Analyze business performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to achieve results.
    • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Strategic & Operating Plans

    • Translate global strategies into actionable country-level plans tailored to local market dynamics.
    • Develop annual operating plans and multi-year strategies for offers and channel partners, ensuring alignment with AMSP and growth ambitions.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to review progress, adjust plans, and maintain accountability for results.
  • Portfolio Management & Marketing 4P Deployment
    • Product: Manage product and service portfolio, ensuring lifecycle excellence and market relevance. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to define unique value propositions and outperform competitors. Collaborate with product development teams to enhance offerings and meet evolving customer needs.
    • Price: Design pricing strategies that balance profitability and market share growth. Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to adjust strategies proactively. Implement promotional pricing models to drive penetration and defend market share.
    • Place: Optimize go-to-market channels (GD, PB, e-commerce, IAD) and strengthen relationships with distributors and partners. Collaborate with global supply chain teams to ensure product availability and cost efficiency.
  • Channel Development & Ecosystem Management
    • Build strong partnerships with EcoXpert partners, supporting their growth and competency development to achieve Master-level expertise.
    • Connect partners with SE Sales, end customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to strengthen their presence in the ecosystem.
    • Drive demand generation beyond partners, targeting end-users and key market segments to expand reach and influence.
    • Facilitate collaboration across divisions to manage channel conflicts and maximize ecosystem value.
  • Capability Building & Customer Experience
    • Support partners in enhancing sales and engineering capabilities through training, tools, and resources aligned with strategic objectives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively address customer issues and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
    • Promote best practices and share insights to elevate partner performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Pipeline & Brand Management
    • Leverage bFO to manage partner pipeline, ensure accurate forecasting, and provide visibility to cross-business teams.
    • Monitor opportunity health and implement actions to maintain a robust pipeline.
    • Implement brand strategies aligned with SE Global Marketing framework to enhance EcoXpert and company brand positioning in the market.
    • Support partners in effectively positioning their brand to strengthen overall ecosystem value.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Teamwork

    • Foster strong collaboration with internal teams (country, regional, global) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
    • Provide technical and application expertise to support sales and marketing efforts effectively.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to partners and internal teams, ensuring alignment and shared success.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Working Experience: 3–5 years in marketing, sales management, business development, or channel management. Proven track record in driving business growth and managing P&L. Experience with multi-tiered customer and channel approaches.
  • Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills):
    • Technical & Industry Knowledge:
      Understanding of Power and Building Management Systems, energy management solutions, and related technologies. Familiarity with electro-intensive segments (e.g., Data Centers, Buildings, Healthcare, Energy & Chemicals). Knowledge of Schneider Electric ecosystem and GTM strategies is an advantage.
    • Skills & Competencies:
      • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making under pressure.
      • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
      • Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders effectively across internal teams and external partners.
