Job Description

What will you do?

1. This role is to focus on prescribing and growing business opportunities to increase revenue for our all business entity (Main focus on Partner Products, Digital Energy, Power Systems, Secure Power, Home & Distribution, Ecostruxure - Software & Services).

2. To drive innovation & growth with the electrical consultants across the breadth of the Schneider Electric product & Software portfolio, and the development of relationships with these consultants / specifiers to support delivery of targets in defined regions.

3. Clearly articulate SE’s value of IoT enabled power distribution systems.

4. Responsible for driving Ecostruxure Power/Plant/IT Integrated Solutions, applications, and architectures from connected products through advisor platforms.

5. As a Prescription Engineer, you have a “what’s next” attitude. You are focused, collaborative and passionate about the work that you do.

6. Can Identify projects within the targeted consultants and follow the opportunities through the value chain.

7. Get SE specified and on preferred make list for the projects and position SE as the “first in mind” and engage with consultants to ensure they are aligned with SE’s product offering.

8. Keep Specifiers abreast with the latest changes and updates on SE's product offering and solutions

9. Work closely with the wider SE sales teams ensure coordination with team to ensure project win

Business Understanding:

Power Products - Low Voltage Panels, ACB, MCCB, Contactors, Relays, ATS

Digital Energy - Multi Function Meters, Power Quality Solutions ( APFC Panels, Aactive Harmonic Filters ), Energy Management System

Power Systems - Transformers, RMU, Medium Voltage Panels, VCB

Home & Distribution - Distribution Boards, MCB, RCCB/RCBO, Plug & Sockets, Switches & Lighting Automation

Secure Power - Modular UPS

EcoStruxure is Schneider Electric's IoT-enabled, plug-and-play, open, interoperable architecture and platform, in Homes, Buildings, Data Centres, Infrastructure and Industries. Innovation at Every Level from Connected Products to Edge Control and Apps, Analytics and Services.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

 

1. Detailed technical understanding of Power Control, Monitoring and Management (Ideally across Medium Voltage, Low Voltage & Final Load Voltage systems)

2. Solid years in industry - consulting and systems specification

3. Successful teamwork experience (collaborating on group/team projects)

4. Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements in our discipline

5. Ability to articulate, discuss and present different points of view on various technologie
