Job Title: Innovation & Strategic Partnership Leader

Role Overview:
The Innovation & Strategic Partnership Leader will drive organizational growth by leveraging external and internal capabilities to accelerate speed, efficiency, and innovation. This role focuses on building scalable models across competency, infrastructure, development, manufacturing, labelling, and partnerships to ensure the organization remains agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Competency to Scale (C2S): Accelerate Internal Speed through External Expertise (Partner with EMCTO)
  • Develop and implement resource staffing models that optimize talent acquisition and deployment.
  • Partner with external talent pools for widely available skills (e.g., Java) to reduce time-to-market.
  • Adapt strategies to fast-changing technology trends and exploratory projects.

 

  1. Infrastructure to Scale (I2S): Prototype & Test Externally to Remove Internal Bottlenecks (Partner with EMCTO)
  • Leverage internal assets such as SE, GSC (Testing & Prototyping), and EMCTO (Testing & Certification).
  • Establish external partnerships using pay-per-use models for prototyping and testing.
  • Ensure infrastructure readiness for rapid scaling and innovation.

 

  1. Development to Scale (D2S): Accelerate POC Development for Rapid Learning
  • Drive proof-of-concept (POC) development through collaborations with startups and development firms.
  • Implement project packaging models to enable quick experimentation and iterative learning.
  • Foster a culture of “fail fast, learn faster” to enhance innovation cycles.

 

  1. Manufacture to Scale (M2S): Optimize Production through Strategic Outsourcing (Partnering with GSC)
  • Utilize contract manufacturing models to manage overheads and improve efficiency by partnering with GSC
  • Apply learnings from industry best practices (e.g., LK) to medium-scale production.
  • Ensure cost-effective and scalable manufacturing solutions.

 

  1. Label to Scale (L2S): Expand Market Presence through White Labeling (Partnering with Procurement)
  • Acquire and integrate competitive offerings to build differentiation and complete product portfolios.
  • Use white-label strategies to enter new markets and accelerate growth.
  • Negotiate and manage contract models for external product integration.

 

  1. Partner to Innovate (P2I): Co-Develop Future Technologies
  • Establish R&D partnerships with industry leaders to stay ahead of technological trends.
  • Synchronize development cycles with market innovators to de-risk innovation.
  • Drive strategic collaborations that enable future-ready solutions without immediate business case constraints.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education background: B.Tech / B.E in Industrial Management, MBA  from Tier 1 college
  • Proven experience in strategic leadership roles focusing on scaling and innovation.
  • Strong ability to build and manage external partnerships and ecosystems.
  • Expertise in resource optimization, infrastructure planning, and agile development.
  • Deep understanding of emerging technologies and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience: 15+ years
