What will you do?

  • Take the Lead with These Responsibilities:

    • Drive operational excellence in SMT and PCBA manufacturing within a high-mix, low-volume environment serving four distinct Business Units.
    • Lead a team of 8 engineers, 5 technicians, and 60 operators, ensuring alignment of resources across short, medium, and long-term horizons.
    • Own and improve key performance indicators (KPIs): efficiency, quality, on-time delivery (OTD), and capacity utilization.
    • Implement and sustain standardized manufacturing methods, including Short Interval Management (SIM) and training plans for successful execution.
    • Manage daily operations involving SMT machines (including NXT), wave soldering, AOI systems, and oven profiling techniques.
    • Act as a coach and mentor to develop technical capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with peers to position Reynosa as a Center of Competence for North America.
    • Escalate and resolve operational issues effectively, ensuring sustained results and customer satisfaction.

    • Ability to navigate complexity in a high-mix, low-volume production environment.

Who will you report to?

  • You will report to the Plant Manager of the Reynosa site. This is a leadership role with direct accountability for engineering, technical, and operational teams. You will collaborate closely with peers, stakeholders from different Business Units, and global manufacturing leaders.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Key Qualifications for Thriving:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
    • 15+ years of experience in SMT/PCBA manufacturing operations.
    • Demonstrated success in managing KPIs and leading operational transformation.
    • Strong technical knowledge of SMT machines, soldering processes, and inspection systems.
    • Experience in high-mix, low-volume environments and multi-client operations.
    • Fluent in English
