Modular Data Center Schneider Electric 

 

Department: Operations

 

The Industrial Process Trainee will support the Operations organization in reviewing, documenting, and standardizing processes across multiple departments, including Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Order Management, Logistics, and  ERP systems (with a focus on the new Warehouse Management System). This role ensures that work instructions and departmental procedures are clear, consistent, and aligned with operational excellence and compliance standards. Along with these tasks, a process continuous action plan would be requested, driving and leading industrial processes cost & time actions.  

 

We are looking for a motivated individual with an industrial process orientation and a strong ambition to work in workshop and manufacturing environments. This trainee will join one of the largest data center manufacturing facilities in the world, which is also the headquarters of Schneider Electric Modular Data Center.  

 

🚀What will you learn? 

  • Reviewingdocumenting and standardizing processes across multiple departments 

  • Identify process improvements with a clear impact on cost and/or manufacturing time, supporting continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Apply Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies such as:  

  • 5S for workplace organization 

  • Kanban for visual management and flow control 

  • Kaizen for continuous improvement 

 

🔍 Are you who we are looking for? 

  • Grade Student or Master´s student in Industrial EngineeringElectrical EngineeringMechanical Engineering, Industrial Organization or similar.  

  • Desired knowledge in: Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S in Workshops, 8D problem solvingprocess mappingetc 

  • Collaborationadaptabilityproblem solvingproactivity and communication skills are needed. 

  • Outgoingness and desire to learn 

  • Be able to work between 4 and 6 hours a day (Monday to Friday) and be available in the morningsThe schedule is flexible and you can start between 7 and 10am.  

  • To be able to make an internship agreement with your university or study center for a period of at least 6 months. 

  • Be available to start in March. 

  • High English level
