Job Title:  SAP Technical Delivery Manager

Experience:10-15 years

Location: Bangalore

 

Responsibilities

What will you do?

  • Lead and mentor ABAP development teams, ensure project deliveries, RUN support, capacity management, people management( with direct reporting)
  • Oversee design and delivery of custom solutions in SAP ECC ERP/S/4HANA.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices., Spear head critical projects, have futuristic planning for team, strategically align with org goals and lead the team.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and architects, regional leaders, cluster managers and ensure seamless collaboration on all transversal topics.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong ABAP programming (Reports, ALV, Enhancements, BADIs, OData, CDS Views, RAP CAP, FIORI, Datasphere, DLC).
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and modern development tools (Eclipse ADT, Fiori).
  • Understanding of integration (IDocs, RFC, APIs).

Leadership Qualities:

  • Team management/ people management and mentoring experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving.

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

  • Computer Science

SAP certifications are a plus:

  • SAP Certified Development Specialist – ABAP for SAP HANA
  • SAP S/4HANA Development Certification

3–5+ years in a leadership role (Team Lead, Technical Manager, or similar).

Proven ability to:

  • Manage and mentor technical teams.
  • Drive delivery of complex SAP projects.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in resource planning, project management, and quality assurance.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
