The Role: Tendering Solutions Engineer

What will you do?
•Analyze customer requirements and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to ensure accurate interpretation.
•Prepare comprehensive and technically sound quotations based on schematic diagrams and customer specifications, ensuring timely delivery.
•Support tendering and execution governance for projects under modernization initiatives.
•Assess power quality and electrical distribution performance through site audits or remote evaluations.
•Provide actionable recommendations to enhance safety, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
•Develop precise consulting audit quotations for power solutions aligned with project specifications and schematics.
•Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction by exceeding expectations in quotation accuracy, delivery timelines, and technical expertise.
•Identify and propose appropriate Schneider Electric technical solutions.
•Utilize Schneider Electric quoting tools to configure and price solutions effectively.
•Submit complete tender proposals within customer deadlines and conduct follow-up and negotiations.
•Demonstrate a strong commitment to improving customer experience and satisfaction.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
•Must have an accomplished background in understanding schematic and single line diagrams.
•Relevant electrical trade/engineering and quotation preparation experience.
• Possess a track record in delivering quotes involving MV / LV electrical distribution equipment.
•Highly organized and systematic, able to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment, under pressure and minimum supervision.
• Able to multi-task effectively, highly organized, with good planning and prioritization system.
• Keen attention to details, high commitment to quality output
• Team-oriented; proactive to help and care for the other members of the team
