  • Develop advanced extended characterization methods using mass spectrometry technologies including Native LC-MS, CE-MS, MD-LC-MS, and automated LC-MS/MS.
  • Create analytical methods for characterization and release testing with tools like HPLC-UV, CE, iCIEF, and HPLC-CAD, including reports, protocols, and validations.
  • Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies to innovate in Analytical Development.
  • Oversee data generation, integrity, and compliance at internal labs and contract organizations.
  • Build relationships with Research, Clinical Development, and Program Strategy teams, providing technical input.
  • Support cGMP manufacturing and present findings to senior staff for INDs and patents.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates need:

  • Ph.D. with 3+ years or M.S. with 6+ years of industrial experience in Analytical Chemistry or related fields focused on biologics.
  • Advanced hands-on expertise in LC-MS-based biologics characterization and data analysis for CMC development.
  • Proficiency in analytical method development, validation, and control strategies using HPLC, CE-SDS, iCIEF, LC-MS/MS, and more.
  • Familiarity with FDA and ICH guidelines for drug substance/product quality and compliance.
  • Strong collaboration skills across CMC functions, plus knowledge of lab automation, data governance, and data science.
