Role Overview

As a Scientist II Pharmaceutical Analyst at Cardinal Health's state-of-the-art Scientific Service Center in Mansfield, MA, you will be at the forefront of pharmaceutical stability testing. This 100% onsite role involves producing high-quality data for solid-dose pharmaceuticals using advanced techniques like HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, Karl Fisher, and dissolution testing. Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you will:

• Execute analytical testing on stability samples using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, Karl Fisher, and dissolution to assess drug product stability.
• Perform data compilation, review, evaluation, and trend analysis to ensure accuracy and precision.
• Conduct analytical method verification, validation, and transfer protocols adhering to ICH, USP, and FDA requirements.
• Investigate Out of Specification (OOS) results following FDA guidelines.
• Maintain cGMP compliance and document stability studies for regulatory submissions.
• Communicate findings through detailed reports to stakeholders, lab managers, and senior staff.
• Develop testing protocols, SOPs, and work instructions in collaboration with senior chemists.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, candidates should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in analytical laboratory testing for pharmaceutical stability, including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, Karl Fisher, and dissolution.
• Proficiency in commercial stability programs per ICH guidelines.
• Experience with method verification/validation, transfers (USP <1224>), and OOS investigations.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations, LIMS systems (e.g., LabWare), and quality management software (e.g., TrackWise, Veeva, Agile).
• Expertise in instrumental data systems like Waters Empower and Mettler Toledo LabX.
• Strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and work independently or in teams.

Preferred: Working knowledge of USP, FDA, and ICH for stability testing, plus chromatography data acquisition software.
