Role Overview

The Scientist, Real World Evidence (Clinical Research) position at Cardinal Health offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge RWE/HEOR strategies. Reporting to Lead/Senior Scientists, you will support the design and execution of observational studies using administrative claims, electronic health records (EHR), and primary data collection. Key Responsibilities

As a Scientist in Real World Evidence, your core duties include:

• Generating high-quality real-world research studies leveraging diverse data sources like claims and EHR.
• Conducting comprehensive literature reviews on products and disease areas, especially oncology.
• Drafting research proposals, protocols, statistical analysis plans, table shells, and study reports.
• Proactively resolving research design and analytical challenges.
• Collaborating with HEOR teams to develop study concepts and deliver value to pharmaceutical manufacturers.
• Preparing technical presentations, proposal requests, and background materials for client discussions.
• Communicating effectively with customers to provide exceptional service and advance healthcare efficiencies.
• Contributing to publications, reports, and presentations to build RWE/HEOR expertise.

Qualifications & Requirements

Cardinal Health seeks candidates with:

• Proven experience in research protocol development and conducting observational studies (highly preferred).
• Background in Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or clinical settings (preferred).
• Oncology experience as a plus.
