In this critical role, you'll collect and analyze data from the cybercriminal underground to safeguard CrowdStrike customers' security and privacy. As an OPSEC-savvy, detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for data collection and analysis, you'll play a pivotal role in proactive threat detection. To succeed in this role, you'll need professional experience in cyber threat intelligence, open source intelligence (OSINT), or information security. Proficiency in Python for data extraction, web scraping, and database interactions is essential, along with familiarity with Docker, Git, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and logging tools like Splunk or Logscale. Open source tools such as pandas, requests, SQL, and BeautifulSoup are key. You should confidently navigate large datasets, perform exploratory data analysis with statistical methods, and adhere to OPSEC principles.
