Job Description

The Segment Head of Protection and Automation Solutions for Energy Automation is responsible for the overall direction and management of complete P&L including Order Intake, Revenue, Profit and Free cash flow. The scope includes Business Development, Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Site Commissioning & Services through designated functional managers, ensuring consistency with established processes, efficient execution of projects and customer satisfaction. This role will require a deep understanding of our business, market trends, customers' needs and a passion to drive growth and performance.

Position Responsibilities:
• Develop a deep understanding of key market segments – Transmission and distribution utilities, thermal and renewable generation, industry and infrastructure verticals – including segment drivers, market potential, buying behavior etc.
• Strive to improve market share by building strong rapport with customers
• Have excellent communication skills and develop a network of trust and collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders involving Sales, Product Management, HQ and Inter Company Business partners
• Organize the Operations in such a way as to provide the most efficient use of the functional team- Manufacturing, Engineering, customer services & project management focusing on the on- time delivery of the project while exceeding customer expectations.
• Profit and Free cash flow.
• Responsible to drive and achieve productivity measures in Sales and operations team.
• Directing and managing Digital solution deployment.
• Maintain customer relationships which allow for an escalation process that leads to fair and mutual solution creation.
• Develop best practices and tools for order acquisition, project execution, and management.
• Support Bid Management team in bid process and new solution deployments.
• Act as coach to team / strong people management and Customer focus.

The Candidate Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering.

Professional Qualification and Personal Attributes:
• 15+ years of experience in Energy Automation systems & solutions.
• Good knowledge and understanding of T&D system. Experience in control, protection, and substation automation systems.
• 4+ years of direct management responsibilities for a large team in a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lead a team though change management
• Must be able to travel ~30% of time.

Salary

Estimated Salary Rangemedium confidence

70,000 - 120,000 INR / yearly
