Role Overview

As a Senior Analyst, Ocean Operations, you'll join Nike's Origin Operations Control Tower team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This full-time role in Supply Chain Flow - Transportation focuses on delivering seamless ocean origin operations across multiple geographies. Reporting to the Manager, Ocean Operations, you'll collaborate with logistics service providers (LSPs), factories, and Nike Origin Operations to monitor milestones, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will ensure reliable cargo flow from origins to Nike's global network:

• Monitor key ocean origin operations milestones related to carrier booking and shipments with factories and Nike-appointed LSPs like ocean carriers and consolidators.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex operational issues, ensuring timely resolutions to minimize disruptions in cargo flow.
• Escalate critical exceptions to leadership with clear root cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Proactively identify exceptions and deviations from Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and milestones to maintain process adherence.
• Guide junior team members in SOP adherence, exception handling, and new process initiatives.
• Support monthly business reviews and provide internal leadership updates on ocean operations performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years of operational execution experience in ocean origin operations.
• Deep knowledge of ocean operations, including capacity management, equipment availability, carrier forecasting, booking, and documentation.

• Strong communication skills and a forward-looking, proactive mindset to drive actions with internal teams, LSPs, and factories.
