Role Overview

As a Senior Analyst, Origin Operations, you'll join Nike's Origin Operations Control Tower team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This pivotal role focuses on Supply Chain Flow - Transportation, collaborating with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), factories, and internal teams to deliver reliable origin cargo management. Reporting to the Manager, Origin Operations, you'll lead complex executions, drive continuous improvements, and mentor juniors across multiple origins, ensuring shipments align with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all Geographies (GEOs).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor key milestones in origin cargo management, container trucking, and ocean operations with factories, origin consolidators, and ocean carriers.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues, ensuring swift resolutions to prevent cargo flow disruptions.
• Escalate critical exceptions to leadership with clear root cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Proactively detect deviations from SOPs, SLAs, and milestones to maintain process integrity.
• Mentor junior team members on SOP adherence and exception management.
• Contribute to monthly business reviews and leadership updates for strategic insights.

Operational Excellence

Expect to handle Purchase Order (PO) management, factory bookings, shipment planning, documentation, ocean capacity forecasting, carrier bookings, and equipment availability—core elements of Nike's origin operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years of hands-on experience in origin cargo management, container trucking, and ocean origin operations.
• Deep knowledge of origin execution, including PO management, factory booking, shipment planning, documentation, capacity management, carrier forecasting, and bookings.
• Familiarity with transportation management platforms (TMS) and track-and-trace systems.
