Role Overview

The Senior Brand Designer role in New Cairo, Egypt, is a pivotal position within PepsiCo's dynamic design ecosystem. You will take ownership of the visual identity for specific brands in our beverage portfolio, collaborating closely with the Sr. Design Manager, Design Head, brand teams, insights teams, and the global design network while leading junior team members. This role involves generating creative design proposals, participating in research to translate customer needs into actionable solutions, and executing high-quality designs across touchpoints. Focused on the Beverage and Away from Home business in the KSA and Gulf region, you will plan, organize, and implement consistent design principles to ensure projects meet production guardrails and perform as planned.

Key Responsibilities

In this senior role, you will:

• Develop creative design proposals, including strategies, visions, scenarios, and concepts, to visualize desired outputs for internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage in research activities, effectively translating customer needs into actionable design requirements and executing them into versatile solutions for all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with Sr. Design Manager, Design Head, marketing, insights, and global design teams to own visual identities for beverage portfolio brands.
• Create high-quality brand design solutions by directly executing designs and leveraging internal/external resources, while driving to final recommendations, decisions, and approvals for artwork execution and production.
• Guide interns and junior team members, elevating their skills and responsibilities through mentorship.

Ensure all project variables are considered, maintaining thorough oversight so final solutions perform optimally in real-world applications.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as PepsiCo's Senior Brand Designer, you need:

• 5+ years of deep brand design experience as a graphic or brand designer.
• A degree or equivalent tangible understanding of the digital ecosystem.
• Extraordinary design taste, skill, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (3D software is a plus).
• Strong project management and design management skills, with agency experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, comfortable with risk and uncertainty, and capable of influencing senior levels across brands and functions.
• Effective verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all levels; proficiency in oral and written English is a plus.
• Capability to develop and visualize concepts through hand sketching or software, fueled by an incurable curiosity for design.
• Proven ability to work smoothly in fast-paced, interdisciplinary teams.
