Role Overview

As a Senior Change & AI Transformation Consultant at Cardinal Health, you'll lead high-impact change initiatives within our Sonexus business transformation portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Business Transformation and Change Management, this nationwide field role focuses on driving adoption of AI and digital technologies across patient services, centers of excellence (COEs), commercial technology, and pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

Change Project Planning

Design and execute comprehensive change strategies and plans supporting assigned digital and AI changes. Collaborate across patient services, COEs, commercial tech, and pharmacy ops to ensure seamless implementation.

Analysis and Assessments

Conduct thorough impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, build change personas, and perform readiness evaluations. Use data-driven insights to guide successful project rollouts and minimize disruptions.

Stakeholder Engagement

Foster strong partnerships with Patient Access, Case Management, Specialty Hubs, Pharmacy Operations, IT, and executive leadership. Perform targeted analyses to boost engagement, reduce blockers, and overcome resistance to AI initiatives.

Adoption and Communication

Develop targeted communication plans, training programs, and reinforcement activities to drive user adoption. Monitor progress, measure change effectiveness, and adjust strategies for optimal results.

AI Transformation Leadership

Champion AI integration in patient support workflows, ensuring ethical, compliant deployment that enhances onboarding, adherence, and overall patient experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, candidates need 8+ years of progressive change management experience, ideally in healthcare, pharma, or regulated sectors. Proven track record leading complex AI/digital transformations is essential. Key qualifications include:

• Expertise in change methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter)
• Strong analytical skills for stakeholder mapping and impact analysis
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities across all levels
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA) and patient support operations
• Experience with AI tools in operational contexts a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Change, or related field; Master's preferred
