The Senior Consultant, Data Governance and Insights role within Cardinal Health's Innovation Technologies team is pivotal for shaping the future of commercial data strategies. This position leads the design, development, governance, and evolution of enterprise-grade data solutions supporting the Commercial Data & Technology portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, you'll ensure data sources align with enterprise architecture standards, maintain consistent attribute definitions, and keep governance repositories accurate and actionable. Championing metric consolidation into standardized platforms, you'll create a single source of truth for analytics while driving cloud, reporting, and integration modernizations. Key Responsibilities

In this strategic position, you'll collaborate across teams to deliver transformative data governance. Core duties include:

• Partnering with Enterprise Architecture and Commercial Solutions & Analytics product owners to align data sources, integrations, and platforms with the enterprise data warehousing and analytics roadmap.
• Establishing, maintaining, and enforcing consistent data definitions, hierarchies, and attribute standards across all Commercial solutions.
• Owning and governing enterprise data definition repositories like Collibra, ensuring metadata accuracy for analytics and business teams.
• Leading consolidation of disparate reporting and overlapping metrics into scalable, standardized platforms.
• Supporting data migrations and platform transitions with a focus on integrity, continuity, and stakeholder buy-in.
• Translating complex data landscapes into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
• Evaluating modern data platforms like GCP/BigQuery and Databricks to boost accessibility, quality, and performance.
• Identifying AI-enabled analytics opportunities, such as Generative AI and RAG, for measurable business value.

Qualifications & Requirements

Cardinal Health seeks proven leaders with deep expertise in data governance and analytics. Ideal candidates bring:

• 8-12 years of relevant experience in data management, governance, or analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360), including connectors, zero-copy architectures, and activation patterns.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Looker, GCP/BigQuery, Databricks, Alteryx, Microsoft SQL Server, or SAP HANA.
• Proven track record in data migrations (on-prem to cloud, cloud-to-cloud, reporting consolidations).
• Exposure to AI-driven analytics like Generative AI, RAG, or Model Context Protocols is a plus.
