This hybrid role based in Austin, Texas or Charlotte, North Carolina offers you the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, drive customer adoption of MongoDB Atlas, and shape the future of our NoSQL database ecosystem. With 7+ years of customer success experience required, you'll thrive in high-ambiguity environments, acting as the customer's voice within MongoDB while advocating for innovative solutions that accelerate time-to-value.

As a key member of our Customer Success organization, you'll manage complex technical relationships, optimize customer spend on MongoDB Cloud, and build processes that scale our program. This role demands technical curiosity about document databases, cloud-native architectures, and modern application development. You'll interface daily with Sales, Professional Services, Solutions Architects, and C-suite executives to ensure customer success and MongoDB growth.

Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

  • Act as strategic advisor running enablement sessions on MongoDB best practices and technology optimization strategies
  • Develop and execute 3+ quarter account plans to mitigate risk and drive expansion across your portfolio
  • Lead in-person Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) with C-suite stakeholders to align on mutual success plans
  • De-escalate critical issues from outages to custom MongoDB implementations for mission-critical applications
  • Serve as the critical link between customers and Product Engineering, shaping MongoDB's future roadmap
  • Collect and synthesize customer feedback to inform Product, Professional Services, and Leadership teams
  • Manage territory relationships with Sales Leadership and Account Executives, providing training and best practices
  • Forecast churn and growth metrics to senior leadership using MongoDB Atlas health signals
  • Build the Customer Success program through strategic internal projects and process innovation
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in Gainsight and Salesforce for all customer interactions
