Role Overview

As a Senior Cyber Defense Analyst, Insider Threat, ITC, you'll join the Insider Threat Operations (ITO) team within Nike's Corporate Information Security group. Reporting to the Insider Threat Director, you'll provide subject matter expertise, conduct technical analysis of user activity data, and investigate alerts to detect data compromise or IP loss. Key Responsibilities

• Analysis and Assessment: Perform all-source, cyber, and investigative analysis. Apply insider risk models, integrate data from network monitoring and analytics tools to uncover anomalies and trends.
• Data Triage: Review anomalous events from User Activity Monitoring (UAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and endpoint tools. Escalate and investigate high-concern events.
• Insider Threat Investigations: Support investigations per established policies, documenting findings in detailed reports.
• Analytic Case Support: Assist with security inquiries, risk assessments, and administrative processes related to insider threats.
• Briefings and Reports: Create error-free briefings and reports suitable for executive stakeholders, presenting findings clearly and concisely.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required, or equivalent professional experience. You need 5+ years in information technology, including at least three years in insider threat roles. Familiarity with counterintelligence investigations, counterespionage operations, and insider threat risk scoring tools is essential.

Technical and Soft Skills

Key skills include understanding insider threat modus operandi, user activity data, and DLP systems. Proficiency in data analytics tools for network monitoring is a must.
