Role Overview

As a Senior Cyber Defense Analyst, ITC, you'll report to the Director of ASM and collaborate with engineering, cloud, and platform teams. This role focuses on building scalable detection, triage, and remediation workflows infused with AI/ML. Transform noisy CVE/KEV data into reliable pipelines, enforce secure SDLC guardrails, and partner with VM analysts and SecOps. Key Responsibilities

In this high-impact position, you'll drive Nike's vulnerability reduction at scale:

• Partner with VM analysts, cloud/platform engineers, and SecOps to integrate scanning, asset, and detection systems into AI-enabled workflows.
• Design and maintain production-quality Python pipelines that normalize, enrich, and route vulnerability data to Databricks, SIEM, and SOAR systems.
• Apply AI/ML techniques like model-based risk scoring and LLM-assisted triage to prioritize threats and reduce noise for remediation teams.
• Collaborate across global time zones, fostering relationships with engineering, infrastructure, product teams, and incident responders for fast remediation.
• Solve complex challenges such as broken integrations, data gaps, and ownership ambiguities by creating durable automation patterns.
• Build dashboards, metrics, and automated reporting to enhance visibility and inform leadership decisions on security posture.
• Refine tooling, document patterns, and create runbooks to elevate engineering standards across the VM ecosystem.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 7–10+ years in security engineering, vulnerability management, or automation, with demonstrable AI/ML applications in security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education/experience/training.
• Certifications including GCIA, GCIH, GMON, AWS/Azure Associate; hands-on with AI/ML platforms like SageMaker or Azure ML.
• Expertise in Python, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, feature engineering, model deployment/monitoring; integration with Rapid7, Wiz.io, Databricks, SIEM, SOAR.
• Experience applying ML for vulnerability detection, predictive risk scoring, and intelligent orchestration; model monitoring to combat drift and bias.
